In the afternoon you get to enjoy the Jungle Bath, just a short forest walk from the lodge. Relax in the herbal sauna and go for a refreshing dip in the small spring water pool. After this refreshing experience awaits a traditional ao massage.
In the evening, why not try the speciality red curry at the in-house restaurant or taste the locally prepared edicinal lao lao by the bonfire, or simply retire to your private bungalow under the starlit sky .
Day 2: After breakfast we make a short jungle walk in the forest conservation area just opposite the lodge. We explore the forest with our experienced guide who possess an extensive knowledge of the monsoon forest eco-system and the various wildlife that inhabits the area. We visit the village
Ban Thakhai where three ethnic minorities live together in a population of only 25 families. Back at Ban Pako in the afternoon one can relax in the hammocks, play sports, explore the forest or do other activities as one pleases.
Day 3: After breakfast we descend the river in a traditional long tail boat to the village Ban Thaxang where we visit the beautiful temple where we get to look at the largest golden Buddha statue in Laos and learn about the local village life. Ban Thaxang is famous for the weaving of sin decorations and we get the chance to look at this beautiful handicraft. After a genuine Lao lunch in the village we return to the lodge.
Day 4: After breakfast the transport returns to Vientiane at 8:30 am.
