Hotel Lao
Sustainability
Originally from Pakse in southern Laos, Chansaone operated a Vientiane pharmacy for 10 years before returning to college in 1997. Graduating with a Business Management degree from Khon Kaen in Thailand in 1999, she returned to Vientiane. Following a chance meeting with the owner of the soon to be opened Hotel Lao, she was asked to apply for the job as Manager. Her skills in accounting and project management impressed her prospective employer. While never imagining she would be one day involved in the hotel business, friendly and outgoing Chansaone loves meeting and talking with the travelers from many countries that visit Hotel Lao.
