
This tour offers you the chance to be in nature, take a boat trip in one of the largest lakes in Laos, visit local villages and the ruins of a 8-11th Century Mone-Khmer site. It is a full day, filled with interesting things to do and see but taken at a relaxed pace.

Itinerary
Travelling by car or minivan, we leave Vientiane and head out to the Nam Ngum Reservoir, 100km away. Along the way we stop at a Hmong village to visit the market and meet some of the local people. From here we visit the archaelogical site of Vang Xang which was built during the 8th to 11th centuries.
We lunch by the side of the reservoir, before embarking on a boat trip to visit some of the fishing villages located on islands within this huge lake. Returning home we make an additional stop to catch some more local culture.
Cancellation policy
For cancellations with more than 7 days notice, a full refund shall be given. For cancellations with 7 days or less notice, no refund can be issued.

Please note that this tour is open to others to join in with you. The price decreases with the more people that go on the same tour. Should more people join your tour after you have paid, the appropriate discount shall be applied.
