Mr. Denis L. - Belgium on 16/07/2010
"It is out of the way and even though they have a pool dont book on the strength of that as
it is not cared for and very deep if you have children.
This place could be so much better with a lick of paint and a good clean.
The staff were very helpful.
Found better places at the same price in town"
Mr. stephen s. - United Kingdom on 02/07/2010
"Very dirty room. Hotel opened in 1995 and our room looked like it hadn't been cleaned or painted since. Very run down. Minimal English among the staff. Pool was nice, again a bit grotty but still nice on a hot day. About a 25 minute walk from the main area of town. Not near much."
Ms. Aoife K. - Ireland on 05/06/2010
"Simple, full furnished and very quiet"
Mr. Jean-Louis B. - France on 03/04/2010
"The swimming pool was unusable at the time and quite a few mosquitos given that the doors didnt close properly"
Mr. Lee C. - United Kingdom on 05/03/2010
"Thought I requested the guesthouse to pick me up at the airport, they forgot that. They were kind and paid me that fee. So, it's no problem.
They spoke French very well, but English was a little poor.
If they had a map around there about restaurants, I had been more happy, because I had a difficulty in finding restaurants."
Mr. HAMASAKI H. - Japan on 02/03/2010
"I went to Vietiane to see the 2009 SEA Game, after the opening ceremony, I went to Savannakhet to visit my reletives and friends, while there I found out that one of my USB flash drive was missing, so when I came back for the closing ceremony, I called the guesthouse to see for any luck I lost it there; to my surprise, the staff told me that one of the cleaning lady found it, so thanks to their honesty I got back my thumb drive with all my photos collection.

Thanks you very much Villa Sisavat Guesthouse.

"It is a basic room and the location is far from the city."
Ms. Siew Siew K. - Malaysia on 05/01/2010
"Tucked in a small vllage slightly on the outskirt of Vientiene. Not far from Patuxai, the Laotian Arc de Triomphe. Amazing rooms, with a nice swimming pool."
Mr. Wei-Hsiung Derek C. - Singapore on 30/12/2009
"good basic accomodation. nice pool."
Mr. Tam Q. - Australia on 08/08/2009

"Very helpful person at the front desk. Taught us some useful Lao phrases to communicate with our tuk tuk driver. Nice swimming pool."
Ms. Pearl Ann J. - Malaysia on 18/04/2009
"Friendly welcome and staff, clean room/ was a little loud, so we asked for another one and changed rooms the next morning. Great pool! Quiet and safe neighborhood! We extended our stay! Too bad, there was NO breakfast lest today, just coffee and tea.
But anyway, we can recommend this hotel very much!"
Ms. Frances Lindemann W. - Germany on 16/04/2009
"Excellent value although a little out of town."
Mr. Laurence M. - United Kingdom on 01/03/2009
"The bedroom and bathroom are quite clean with proper facilities, but its location is a bit out of city centre. Anyway, it is not too far to walk during the day. The great thing about this place is its swimming pool."
Mr. PEERAPONG L. - Thailand on 13/01/2009
"We ordered an airport pickup and the guy was sent to the International terminal instead of the domestic terminal. We flew from Siem Reap to Vientiane, however our flight landed in Pakse where we cleared customs and immigration and then became a domestic flight. Not a criticism of the hotel, just a warning to future travellers on that flight. Our welcome was nice, our room was old but totally worth the money we paid. We had to pay for WiFi but not very much - however, most of the places we have stayed it was free. We didn't realise that breakfast was included because they told us there was no restaurant - he asked us if we wanted breakfast after we had already bought it from across the road! So we asked for a cup of tea instead and then he wanted to charge us for the cup of tea!

It was perfect for a one night stopover, but for a few days of sightseeing it was a bit far out of town, so later in the week when we returned to Vientiane we opted for a more central place and paid a bit more."
Ms. Alison K. - Australia on 31/12/2008
"Not Good - Grot with a capital 'G'.
We were supposed to stay for 4 nights but moved after 2 (tried to leave after one).
Quite a way out of town
The room we had was smelly and generally not nice. They feed the cats right by the room and it is obviously their 'toilet area' too
The swimming pool is not a good thing!
There are cheaper and nicer hotels in town."
Mr. Anthony H. - United Kingdom on 24/10/2008
"Villa Sisavad is a good place to stay while you visit viantiane, the only minus point would be, it is slightly away from the City center and many of the tourist attraction areas.

They have a wonderful swimming pool, great to unwind after a bz day of moving about. "
Mr. Thiruvarasu M. - Malaysia on 16/05/2008
"We had a great stay at Villa Sisavad & will hopefully return one day. Good location & easy walking to most places. Everyone was very helpful & friendly."
Mr. Glen H. - Australia on 07/03/2008
"Family run. Very friendly. Great swimming pool. A place to relax after a busy sightseeing day. "
Mr. Gerald D. - United States on 07/02/2008
"The Villa is far from the centre and you need a taxi to get to the river. The room is basic. You can hear other rooms TV's through the walls. There is no reading light. The only light is at the furtherest point in the room from the bed. There are lots of street noises during the night and you are woken early when the staff get up and start work. The hotel does not provide food. The only food available nearby is Lao food."
Mr. Kevin F. - Australia on 14/12/2007
"Nice, clean friendly guesthouse, with helpful friendly staff who gave an experienced impression. lovely breakfast well worth the money, nice clean rooms and well-kept swimming pool, although the location of it right by the gate facing the street was less inviting. Good prices, the location could be better but the distance to the city centre is still leasily walkable and the area was nice."
Ms. Stella R. - Sweden on 05/08/2007
"quiet area and not to far from city center"
Mr. Philippe V. - France on 16/05/2007
