Travel Writer Wanted

A great opportunity to come and live in Laos for a year! Accommodation, work visa, basic salary and local travel opportunities provided!!!

Based in our Vientiane office, we are looking for a travel / content writer to generate good quality articles, content and product descriptions for our websites covering Laos, Thailand and Cambodia and ideally for wider distribution through online + offline channels. Travel through the region (on our expense) will be through local transport, VIP buses staying in 1-3 star hotels and local guesthouses. We are looking for someone who wants to experience and help us promote our destinations as the great places that we know they are.

It is expected that maybe one week in every 3 (or one month in every 3), would be spent travelling to destinations throughout Laos, Thailand and Cambodia. The rest of the time would be office-based, with desk research and content production a key part of this role.

Salary package includes accommodation, work visa and living allowance circa USD700 per month. Teamworkz will provide all transport, accommodation and activities needed while travelling for anything work-related. This does not include international travel to Laos for the start of the contract.

Examples of the type of content that will be required:

Approx 500 word travel pieces on local events, topics of interest, traveller advice, destination promotion etc. Some examples: Lao New Year Celebrations; Our Top 5 Activities in Luang Prabang; Sihanoukville Guide; The Top 5 Beaches in Phuket, and Respecting the Alms Giving Ceremony in Luang Prabang.roduct Write-Ups: Engaging descriptions for products such as hotels, tours, restaurants.
